Privacy Policy

Effective September 16, 2026

Who handles your data

GC Ventures, Hong Kong operates Rename America. Privacy requests can be submitted through Contact / Report.

What we collect

We process account details such as email, login provider and public handle; gameplay records such as places, names, votes, token activity, achievements and views; uploaded or generated images and prompts; creator applications and support messages; and basic technical information needed for security and operation. Payment providers may process billing details; we do not need to store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use data to create accounts, operate purchases and gameplay, show public profiles and rankings, provide support, moderate content, prevent abuse, process payments, improve reliability and comply with law. Depending on your location, processing is based on contract, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligations.

What is public

Your handle, submitted place names, game images, votes, achievements, rankings and ownership history may be visible to everyone. Do not use a handle or upload content that reveals information you want kept private.

Sharing and international processing

We share data only with service providers needed for hosting, authentication, storage, AI generation, payments, security and communications, or when required by law. These providers and our systems may process data outside your country with appropriate safeguards where required.

Retention and security

We retain data while your account is active and as needed for game history, safety, disputes, accounting and legal duties. Public rename records may remain after account closure in anonymised or handle-only form. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. Submit a privacy request through Contact / Report. We may verify your identity and retain information where law or legitimate records require it.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. Users below the age of digital consent in their country should use the service only with any consent required by local law.
